We’re helped by senior hotel head Sepp and Maridi as well as youngsters Christoph and Tommi. Together with the Smaragdhotel team, they turn your accommodation into a real home away from home.

Your well-being is his passion. That’s why he takes care of the cuisine at our Smaragdhotel himself – often supported by son and junior chef Tommi. His loving, always freshly prepared delicacies cause a real sensation. And because everything tastes even better after an adventure in the mountains, he’ll even lead you up mountain peaks as a hiking guide.

An infectious smile and a heartfelt “Welcome!” – Maria knows how to bring holiday vibes to life. If you’re happy, she’s happy. That’s why you can always turn to Maria at the reception for anything you need before, during, and after your holiday. But don’t be surprised if you also bump into her in the mountains: Mountain biking is her greatest passion. She cherishes and protects the wonderful nature that surrounds us, as you’ll discover on your biking holiday at our Smaragdhotel.

Sparkling, perfectly polished, with fine details – for Sepp, that’s not just what the ideal emerald should look like. His calling is clear: Every day, he polishes our hotel and the entire premises like a precious stone so that everything runs smoothly and you feel at ease at all times. Your happiness means everything to him.

Maridi is our treasure, bringing sparkle and joy to the hotel and our guests. Perhaps you’ll meet her from afar when you call our reception. And when you visit, she’ll be happy to have an enthusiastic chat with you about the wonders of Salzburgerland. She’ll be sure to have a few insider tips ready and waiting for you!

Christoph Innerhofer

Junior chef and visionary

Christoph is the first of the next generation of hosts to join the hotel. He sees a great future for our Smaragdhotel and is already helping out wherever he can. Mowing the lawn, chopping wood, fly fishing – he has an endless supply of energy as long as he’s outside in the fresh air. When he’s not lending a helping hand, you can hear him making music with the Bramberg brass band.

Thomas Innerhofer

Junior chef and gourmet

The youngest in the family already has a fine sense for culinary indulgence. As often as he can, he helps his dad Günter in the garden and makes sure that everything runs smoothly. He can also often be found in the workshop, where he creates little works of art from metal.

Our apprentice Emilia is a real ray of sunshine. Her bright smile wins over both guests and coworkers. In her free time, she adores playing soccer.

Our breakfast fairies are absolute treasures. They’re always there to listen to our guests. And with their cheerful and friendly vibe, they love giving great hiking tips, whatever the weather!

Our two young staff members have a way of bringing everyone together with their friendly, down-to-earth vibe. If they’re not at the hotel, you can bet they’re out in nature with their horses, enjoying their favourite hobby.

Gudrun and Conny

Kitchen

Team members Gudrun and Conny have been with us for over 20 years, and they’re part of our family in the fourth generation – how incredible is that? We’re really proud of this lasting partnership.

They bring great team spirit and warmth to the kitchen. And when they’re not busy cooking, you’ll find them enjoying group outings on their e-bikes.

Werner is a cornerstone of our team. For over 25 years, he’s been creating amazing culinary experiences at the Smaragdhotel.

Our chef has been bringing great energy to the kitchen for years, creating plenty of “Aah" and “Ooh” moments in the restaurant.

Without Brani, nothing runs smoothly around here. As the “King of Dishes”, he makes plates shine and glasses sparkle!
